PERSONAL INFORMATION
Christian Chat UK does not collect personally identifiable information without visitors' knowledge. As part of the registration process new users do need to provide certain contact information. Where visitors do provide such information we will not reveal contact information or use quotations in a public context unless having obtained specific permission first. Christian Chat UK SMS service also collect mobile phone numbers when provided.

USER REPONSIBILITY
Our registered users are able to edit personal information in their profiles, which are made available to others in the chat room. It is the responsibility of the user to decide on individual content for a profile. We strongly advise users not to place personal email addresses, or contact numbers in their profiles. We reserve the right to edit and remove profiles where innapropriate personal information is displayed.

CHAT ROOM TRANSCRIPTS
We do keep a record of all chat room conversations (transcript). These transcripts will not normally be passed on to a third party outside this organisation, however we reserve the right to do so if appropriate. Transcripts of chatroom conversations are used by Christian Chat UK volunteers when investigating problems and complaints.

SITE STATISTICS
Christian Chat UK does track the number of visitors to our site and retains aggregate statistics about this. Our system also automatically track other information as part of this based on information provided by your browser / pc/ ip address, this includes but is not limited to geographical area, operating system used, browser used, trails followed within the website.

COOKIES
Christian Chat UK uses cookies as part of the chat room log-on system. These can be turned off by un-checking the click box at the log in area. Some of our advertising also includes cookies.

THIRD PARTIES
We do not sell or provide personal information to anyone else for any commercial or marketing purpose.

If we find you breach our terms and conditions (this generally relates to being banned from our chat rooms) we may from time to time pass on details of persistent trouble makers to other Christian operated sites.

MAILING LISTS
Christian Chat UK operates a voluntary subscription mailing list to update subscribers with the latest site news and information. From time to time, our mailing list postings will be sponsored by a Christian company or organisation (no more than one paragraph of text). The system allows subscribers to un-subscribe automatically by clicking a link. We also maintain an opt in SMS service to unsubscribe to this system you will need to send an SMS message back to the system with the KEYWORD followed by STOP.

SECURE PAYMENTS
Christian Chat UK uses Worldpay to handle all credit/debit card payments, via secure server. We do not have sight of customer credit/debit card details, neither do we receive card numbers via email. All sensitive credit/debit card information is held by Worldpay. All enquiries relating to this should be addressed directly to Worldpay using the unique reference number provided by Worldpay upon transaction. When a transaction is passed, we receive a username, record of amount paid, user email address, reference number and registered user details supplied by the customer (relative to the service subscribed to). This information is sent to us by Worldpay.

AGE RESTRICTION
We ask that no one under 18 years of age should provide any information to this or any other site without permission of their parent/carer.
